Welcome to the TANC 2021-2022 year!

Hello, Texas Austin National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners(TANC) Members!

This is the start of a new year with many hopes and dreams to move the chapter to the next level of service for our wonderful members. The board graciously agreed to serve another term because of the disruption caused by covid-19 last year. First of all, let me introduce our board members for the 2021-22 year:

A big heartfelt thank you to Laura Cummins for her past service and dedication to TANC.  Laura was instrumental in setting up social events, arranging speakers, and the newsletter for many years. We look forward to working with you again in the future but for now, take some time for self-care. 

Our board needs you. Who has an extra few hours a month to help set up social events, legislation advocacy, and communicate to our members on social media? 

Some exciting news for this year, we are in the process of filing the paperwork to be able to offer continuing education hours for both in-person and virtual educational events this year. Stay tuned for the first event coming soon.

Don't hesitate to contact any board members if you have a burning desire to serve or have a great idea for our professional organization. Remember, we are experts in pediatrics and advocates for children. So let's make this year unforgettable!
