Busy general Critical Care practice, opportunity to learn a wide variety of critical care and internal medicine needs and potential to learn procedures.

Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Dell Children's Hospital. Patient ages range from newborns born at 34 weeks + up to 21 years old.

We are associated with UT Austin Dell Medical School. Can possibly be placed with other providers (PNP or PA) in the group.

I specialize in urology and I work in the inpatient and outpatient setting.

My patient population 18+ with lots of geriatric and males (60%). I work in an ambulatory outpatient setting (80%) and inpatient within the HCA St David's and Ascension Seton Healthcare Network (20%). Urology has many components, including chronic care management, oncology, endocrinology, geriatric, infectious disease, and post-surgery management. I am not considered a primary care, pediatric, or women’s health preceptor.

In an outpatient practice setting seeing children and adolescents ages 3-18

Mainly accepting students from The University of Texas at Austin (including, but not limited to: School of Psychology Doctoral Training Program, Undergraduate and Graduate School of Nursing) University of the Southwest (Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling) The University of Texas Health and Science Center San Antonio. 8 years experience as an NP in the acute care role. Currently at an LTAC. Precepting currently limited to Texas Tech, South University, UT Arlington, Marysville, Texas State, and Texas A&M.

Specialty is hematology/stem cell transplant. I currently work in a mixed environment of inpatient and outpatient. Daily inpatient rounds caring for acute illnesses and outpatient visits for general hematology and pre/post stem cell transplant.

Inpatient hospice facility

As the NP for a 15-bed inpatient hospice facility, I admit patients, develop and help implement the patient's plan of care, round on each patient daily and makes changes as needed, meet with patients and families to determine goals of care and help facilitate discharge planning. While symptom management is our area of expertise, patients with a terminal illness also have other ongoing medical issues that continue to require management. It is a great experience for NP students in acute care as well as palliative care.
